hi & welcome to fitte!

hi there, and welcome to the world of fitte. i'm so incredibly excited to finally share it with you.

i've been working on fitte (subconsciously) from the age of 12. i've always struggled finding clothes that fit me, being petite and living in the netherlands. it's stood in the way of my confidence. i'm not sure about you, but i believe clothing has magical powers over us. if you're dressed in your favourite outfit, don't you feel you can take on the world?

that's what fitte is about. making sure everyone, truly everyone, will feel like they can take on the world.

over the years the concept of fitte changed. about two or three years ago i've become very aware and passionate about "sustainability". beyond the choices in my personal life, i've become dedicated to turning fitte into a planet friendlier option for petites. i'm aware there's a long road to go, within the industry, and as a new brand in the market. i know we've lots to improve on - i'm vowing to continue making improvements as we grow.

[note -- i won't be using the word 'sustainability' anymore. it's become hollow, a buzzword, for fast (fashion) brands to use as they see fit. i prefer using the phrase 'planet friendlier' because, well, if we're honest with ourselves, any kind of manufacturing/producing is not sustainable. but when we do produce, we want to do so in a way that is friendlier to the planet than the options that are offered today.]

we're sharing loads of information on how we operate, how we produce, what our future plans are. i'm vowing to continue to share as much as we possibly can, so that you can make an educated decision on your purchasing habits.
